Andrew Clayton

Andrew Clayton is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in debt origination and transactions in the UK mid-market private equity sector. Currently serving as the Head of Financial Sponsors at Santander UK Corporate & Commercial since November 2016, Andrew leads a dedicated team in identifying and executing debt opportunities. Prior to this role, Andrew spent over 15 years at the Royal Bank of Scotland, culminating in the position of Managing Director for Financial Sponsors in Structured Finance. Notably, Andrew was recognized as RBS Banker of the Year in 2005. Andrew co-founded Harvest Capital Ltd in 2000, establishing a corporate finance boutique focused on debt and equity sourcing for mid-market transactions. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Geography from the University of Durham.
