Laurent Filleul is a public health professional with extensive experience in epidemiology and health management. Since February 2009, Laurent Filleul has served as the Regional Manager for Santé publique France in Nouvelle Aquitaine and coordinated the Outre-mer strategy, while also managing a team of 10 individuals and overseeing epidemiological surveillance and investigations. Previous experience includes a mission as an epidemiologist for GOARN under the World Health Organization in response to the Ebola outbreak in Mali during late 2014, and an earlier role as an epidemiologist at the Institut de santé publique, d'épidémiologie et de développement (ISPED) from 1998 to 2002. Laurent Filleul holds a Doctorate in epidemiology and public health and a Master's degree in public health from Université de Bordeaux 2.
