Varun Thamba

Varun Thamba is the Regional Head of Artificial Intelligence for SAP Asia Pacific & Japan, responsible for executing the SAP Business AI strategy across multiple countries, including Australia, New Zealand, and India. With nearly a decade of experience in digital transformations for large organizations, Varun has held various leadership roles at SAP, such as Regional Director of Business AI & Technology Strategy and Director of the Data and Analytics Centre of Excellence for the Indian subcontinent. Varun's career began with internships in market research and global marketing strategy at companies like Hyundai Motor Company and Mahindra Group, and included a management trainee role at Bajaj Auto Ltd. Varun holds an MBA in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
