Asimina Andritsou

Asimina Andritsou has diverse work experience in the field of molecular biology and genomic research. Asimina started their career as an Internship Trainee at the Regional General Hospital of Patras in 2018. After completing their internship, they joined the "Mariana V.Vardinoyannis – ELPIDA" Children's Oncology Unit as a Molecular Biologist, where they worked in molecular diagnostics and genomic research in the Laboratory of Pediatric Haematology-Oncology Department. Asimina served in this role from February 2020 to May 2022. In 2020, they also started working at Saphetor as a Senior Variant Curator and later transitioned to the role of Senior Scientific Analyst in January 2023.

Asimina Andritsou completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General at the University of Patras from 2014 to 2018. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) at the University of Patras from 2018 to 2020, specializing in "Drug Discovery and Development" with a focus on "Molecular Pharmacology and Biotechnology."
