Abhishek Kumbhat, PhD, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various companies and roles. Abhishek is currently the Founder & CEO of SapidBlue Technologies, where they utilize their expertise in Product, Technology, and Entrepreneurship to assist organizations in their digital evolution journey through data and AI solutions, blockchain technology, and platform engineering. Prior to this, Abhishek worked as a Startup Mentor, Coach, and Core Team member at IIT Startups.

From 2015 to 2022, Abhishek served as the Head of Technology & Innovation at Payworld, where they played a pivotal role in turning around the technology teams, products, and overall business. During their tenure, they led the migration from legacy systems to a highly scalable and distributed platform on AWS Cloud, resulting in a 12X growth in gross turnover.

Before joining Payworld, Abhishek held the position of Head of Technology & Innovation at Skilrock Technologies from 2007 to 2022. Abhishek also served as the Head of Technology & Innovation at Sugal & Damani Group, where they contributed as the Chief Technology Officer across different verticals of the organization, including Skilrock Technologies and Skill Lotto Solutions.

Further back in their career, Abhishek co-founded TrulyExpo and worked as the Head of Technology and Innovation at Sachar Gaming Pvt. Ltd. Abhishek also held leadership positions at White Technologies Group, including Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, GM (India Operations), Founding Member. Prior to that, Abhishek worked as an R&D Engineer at Agilent Technologies.

Abhishek's career began at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where they worked as a Research Scholar at the Microwave Lab, CARE. Abhishek was involved in designing and fabricating wireless circuits and systems for various defense and non-defense research organizations.

Abhishek Kumbhat, PhD, has a diverse education history spanning multiple fields. Abhishek began their academic journey in 1998 at M.B.M. Engineering College in Jodhpur, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics & Communication in 2002. During the same period, they also pursued another B.E. degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Jai Narain Vyas University.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Abhishek pursued higher education at the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi. From 2002 to 2004, they obtained a Master of Science (Research) degree in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they enrolled at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and specialized in International Business, earning an Executive MBA (EMIB) degree in 2009.

Continuing their academic journey, Abhishek pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi. Abhishek engaged in this research-intensive program from 2014 to 2020, further enhancing their knowledge and expertise in their chosen field.

In addition to their formal education, Abhishek has also pursued additional certifications to expand their skillset. In 2018, they completed the "Blockchain Basics" certification from LinkedIn, demonstrating their commitment to staying current and acquiring relevant knowledge.
