Waqas Dilawar

Waqas Dilawar is an experienced professional in the textile manufacturing industry, currently serving as the Technical Director and Plant Head at Sapphire Textile Mills since January 2016, overseeing operations for apparel and home textiles, as well as leading the marketing and merchandising efforts for the apparel division. Prior to this role, Waqas held various positions at leading companies, including Senior General Manager, General Manager Production & Operations, and Deputy General Manager Operations at Sapphire Textile Mills, where responsibilities included production planning and industrial engineering. Waqas's career began at Nishat Mills Ltd. and included significant roles at Service Industries Limited and Leathertex Group, where industrial engineering and production optimization were key focuses. Waqas holds a B.Sc. in Textile Engineering with a specialization in Garments Manufacturing Technology from National Textile University.
