Daniel Clayton, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment and corporate development. Currently serving as Vice President at Sapphire Partners since April 2024, Daniel previously held various roles at SVB Capital from July 2021 to March 2024, including Investment Vice President and Investment Senior Associate. Earlier experience includes corporate development at Silicon Valley Bank and an MBA venture fellowship at High Lift Capital. Daniel’s career began at Hall Capital Partners LLC, where multiple positions were held, culminating in a role as Private Equity & Venture Capital Research Associate. Academic credentials include an MBA and Financial Engineering Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
