Nicole E. Jovanovski

Nicole E. Jovanovski, CPA has over 17 years of experience in finance and accounting. From 2003 to 2015, they worked at the Sarasota Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller. Nicole E. started as a Sr. Financial/Accounting Analyst, where they prepared account analysis and reconciliations, analyzed complex financial transactions, and provided advisory services to the County. In 2014, they were promoted to Assistant Director of Finance, where they supported the Director of Finance in managing the Finance and Board Services department. In 2015, they further advanced to become the Director of Finance, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and strategic planning of the organization. Additionally, Nicole served as a Board Member for the Florida Local Government Finance Program.

Nicole E. Jovanovski, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida in 2003. Nicole E. then pursued an independent study in Accounting at Louisiana State University from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Florida Atlantic University from 1998 to 2000. In 2012, Nicole became a Certified Public Accountant.
