Andres Pulido

Andres Pulido has extensive experience in the field of information security and IT. Andres currently holds the position of Lead Information Security Engineer at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System since July 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Jackson Health System from September 2015 to July 2019, where they held the roles of Team Lead IT Security and Senior IT Security Specialist. Before that, they worked at Florida International University as a Senior Network and Systems Engineer from April 2010 to September 2015. Andres also served as an Adjunct Faculty member at the university from August 2014 to March 2015. Andres started their career as a Network Engineer at C-Tronic Inc from October 2009 to April 2010. Andres began gaining experience in the field of IT at Florida International University, where they worked as an Assistant System Administrator from August 2004 to September 2009. Prior to that, they worked as a Math Tutor at Miami Dade College from January 2002 to July 2004.

Andres Pulido holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, which they obtained from Florida International University between 2002 and 2007. Andres also obtained a Master of Science in Telecommunications and Networking from the same institution in 2008. Additionally, they have various certifications including PCNSE from Palo Alto Networks in 2019, CEH v9 from EC-Council in 2017, and CISSP from ISC2 in 2015. Andres also holds certifications such as CCNP, ACE – PAN-OS 7.0 Version, CCA xenapp6, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, MCP, Novell Certified Linux Administrator, and Novell Data Center Technical Specialist.
