Ashlyn Brown

Ashlyn Brown is an accomplished Apprentice Artist at Sarasota Opera since January 2022, actively performing in ongoing productions and engaging in masterclasses and coaching. Previously, Ashlyn served as the Audience Development and Community Engagement Coordinator at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music from October 2019 to March 2022, where responsibilities included fostering community partnerships and enhancing student and patron engagement through diverse events. Ashlyn also held roles such as Associate Instructor at First United Church-Bloomington, Alto Section Leader at Musical Arts Center at Indiana Bloomington, and Soloist at Carmel Symphony Orchestra. With a solid educational background from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, including a Master’s degree and ongoing Performance Diploma in Voice and Opera, Ashlyn has honed skills in both performance and community outreach throughout a diverse range of experiences.
