John Herrick

John Herrick, SPHR has extensive work experience in Human Resources. From 1988, they worked at Saratoga Bridges, NYSARC Inc. as the Human Resources Director. In this role, they directed various HR functions such as recruitment, benefits, workforce planning and development, employee relations, compensation administration, and policy development and implementation. John also served as a Plan Trustee for the agency's retirement plan and administered a health insurance plan.

Prior to that, from 1984 to 1988, Herrick worked as the Personnel Officer at the County of Saratoga. In this role, they administered the Civil Service law for the county and various municipalities and school districts. John was responsible for employee relations and contract negotiations with two labor unions, as well as administering employee benefit plans.

John Herrick, SPHR, holds a Master's degree in Public Administration, which they obtained from an unspecified institution between the years 1982 and 1984. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the State University of New York Cortland, graduating in 1976. Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, Herrick completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Liberal Arts at Hudson Valley Community College from 1972 to 1974.
