Azaleah Bilal

Azaleah Bilal is an experienced social worker currently serving as a Foundation Social Work Intern at Lewis’ Mentoring since May 2023. Since July 2021, Azaleah has held multiple roles at SARCOA, including Hospital to Home Transition Coordinator, Information Specialist, and Medicaid Waiver Case Manager. Prior experience includes working as a Forensic Case Manager at Life Management Center of NW Florida, Inc., and as a Senior Residential Unit Specialist at Sunland at Marianna, where focus was on individuals with developmental disabilities. Azaleah also has a background in education as an English teacher for sixth-eighth grade students at Jackson County School Board and supervisory experience at Publix Super Markets. Azaleah holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Aurora University, a Bachelor's degree in English from The Baptist College of Florida, and several certificates related to Medicaid Waiver Support Coordination and Medical Coding and Billing.
