Alberto Dessena

Alberto Dessena is an experienced project manager and technical expert in digital health and public administration, currently serving as the Responsabile Gestione Progetti at SardegnaIT since March 2007, overseeing electronic health projects for the Region of Sardinia. From April 2021 to March 2024, Alberto worked with the Agenzia per l'Italia Digitale as a Project Manager, providing specialized support for strategic digitalization initiatives in public administration, focusing on the electronic health file project and associated European interoperability initiatives. Alberto has also contributed to the University of Cagliari as an IT Consultant, offering expertise in managing research and innovation projects funded by national and community sources. Alberto holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Cagliari, completed in 2000.
