Ismaeel Ghouse

Ismaeel Ghouse is an experienced Substation Design Associate currently employed at Sargent & Lundy since August 2023, focusing on the design of substation and transmission line protection schemes and creating master diagrams for physical and wiring design. Previously, Ismaeel served as a Research Assistant at Elmhurst College from June 2016 to November 2023, where contributions included designing hardware and software for biomimicry robotics and co-authoring an unpublished paper summarizing the findings. Also, Ismaeel worked as a Guest Service Advocate at Target from August 2019 to January 2023, addressing customer inquiries and complaints. Additionally, internship experiences at UL included roles as an Energy and Power Technologies Intern and Industrial Controls Equipment Intern, where responsibilities involved analyzing and testing industrial control devices to ensure compliance with UL standards. Ismaeel holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Elmhurst University.
