Joe Settelmayer

Joe Settelmayer is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in product design and development within the outdoor and automotive industries. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Saris since August 2023, Settelmayer previously held the position of Lead Engineer at Thule Inc. from April 2012 to October 2022. Earlier career highlights include managing product development at Tomas Jewelry, directing engineering at Marimba One, and contributing to advanced concepts at Thule. Settelmayer's design engineering journey began at Yakima Products, where significant roles spanned from Design Engineer to Director of Design Engineering. Joe Settelmayer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Humboldt State University, completed in 1986.
