Katarina Garai

Katarina Garai, CFE, is an accomplished professional in fraud prevention and management, currently serving as the Retail & Telecom Lead for the Fraud CxP Team at SAS since April 2019. With extensive experience across various roles, including Senior Business Solutions Manager and Senior Business Solutions Consultant at SAS, Katarina has developed a strong specialization in fraud risk assessment and community management within the Retail and Telco industries. In addition to their role at SAS, Katarina is actively involved as Vice President and Auditor for ACFE Austria Chapter and serves on the ACFE Advisory Council. Previous positions include Quality Assurance and Fraud Prevention Manager at Global Blue and Chief Accountant at H.B. Fuller, where Katarina demonstrated their expertise in risk mitigation and compliance. Katarina holds a Master's degree in Management of Organisations and Human Resources Management from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave.
