Eric Degenfelder

Eric Degenfelder serves as the President of US Metal Powders since February 2024, leading a global leader in aluminum powder production with facilities in Palmerton, PA, and Hermillon, France. Degenfelder is also a Board Member at SAS Nanotechnologies, actively collaborating with the CEO on technology commercialization, and played a significant role in the company's success in the 2019 Akzo Paint the Future Start-up Challenge. Previously, as CEO of U-C Coatings from January 2019 to November 2023, Degenfelder more than doubled revenue and achieved a 65% EBITDA growth despite COVID-related challenges, overseeing four strategic acquisitions. Degenfelder's experience includes key leadership roles at Axalta and DuPont, where notable achievements involved revitalizing product pipelines, leading mergers and acquisitions, and managing significant business transformations. Degenfelder holds an MBA in Marketing and Manufacturing from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.
