Shelly Ransom is an experienced Speech Language Pathologist and Adjunct Professor with a focus on stuttering therapy, language therapy, and social communication skills. Since April 2022, Ransom has held the position of Adjunct Professor at Sacred Heart University while also working at speech.language.connection and Sasco River Center. Ransom's background includes roles at The Waverly Group, The Southfield Center for Development, and involvement in graduate student internships at Stamford Public Schools and Bridgeport Hospital, which included diverse clinical experiences from preschool to adult populations. Ransom earned a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Sacred Heart University and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Purchase College, SUNY. Prior experience includes serving as a Readers' Advisor at Darien Library.
