Crystal Lawrek

Crystal Lawrek has a strong background in human resources and employee relations. Crystal started their career as an Organizational Development/Staffing Consultant at the City of Regina in 2003. Crystal then worked as an Organizational Development & Employment Consultant at the University of Regina from 2005 to 2008. Crystal Lawrek joined MNP as a Regional Human Capital Manager from 2008 to 2010. Crystal then returned to the University of Regina as an Employee Relations Consultant from 2010 to 2013. After that, they served as the Executive Director of Human Resources & Payroll at the Saskatchewan Transportation Company (STC) from 2013 to 2016. Crystal Lawrek then became the Director of Faculty and Staff Relations at the University of Regina from 2016 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Employee Relations & Health and Wellness at SaskPower since 2019.

Crystal Lawrek obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Regina in 2003. In 2005-2006, they received an Organizational Development Certificate from Queen's University. Crystal is currently pursuing a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Crystal Lawrek is also "Dare to Lead Trained" and obtained this certification in 2024 from Dare to Lead™ Trained.
