Henry Ezi-Ashi has extensive work experience in the energy and chemical sectors. Henry began their career at TotalEnergies in 1997, where they worked as a Lead Project Engineer, overseeing various projects such as facility engineering and commissioning. In 2008, they joined Sasol Synfuels as a Lead Project Engineer, managing projects related to process control, coal tar filtration, and sulphur bagging. Henry later took on the role of Manager of Business Development and Evaluation, where they negotiated new business prospects and managed project governance and contracts. Since 2015, Henry has been at Sasol, serving as the Lead of Capital Projects and Portfolio Management. In this position, they focus on maximizing profit and return on investment through strategic planning, project management, and data-driven decision-making.
Henry Ezi-Ashi has a diverse education history. Henry obtained a Certified Solutions Architect - Associate degree from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021, as well as a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) degree from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in the same year. In 2018-2019, they pursued a Professional Certificate in Program, Project & Portfolio Management from the University of Pretoria. Earlier in their career, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management and Operations from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2008-2011. Additionally, they completed an Advance Diploma in Industrial Automation from the Engineering Institute of Technology in 2009-2010. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ambrose Alli University. Henry has also obtained various certifications such as Excel Data Visualization, Financial Analysis, and Financial Statement Modelling. Henry holds professional registrations as a Registered Engineer with the Nigerian Society of Engineers Victoria Island Branch and as a Professional Registered Engineer with The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). Henry is also an Ambassador for Diesel and Gas Turbine Engineering with The Institution of Diesel and Gas Turbine Engineers, demonstrating their expertise in the field.
