Cindy Dekker

Cindy Dekker has a strong background in sales and management roles. Cindy is currently a committee member for ASA Chicago, where they have been involved since 2009. In this role, they have been a part of the Expo committees and the Membership committee.

Prior to their role at ASA Chicago, Cindy served as the Committee Chairwoman at NAWIC, Chicago Metro #325 Chapter, Region 13 starting from 1999. Cindy has held various positions at NAWIC, including Director, Treasurer, Past President, and Vice President. Currently, they are also the membership chairwoman for the chapter.

In 1995, Cindy worked as a Sales Manager at MET-L-FLO Inc., where they handled business development and sales. Cindy worked with product development engineers to create prototypes and urethane castings.

Before that, they were a Sales Manager at United Refining & Smelting Company starting from 1986. In this role, they handled sales for recycling precious metals and supported a sales force. Cindy also managed national contracts and supported proper environmental processing and disposal of hazardous materials for Fortune 500 manufacturers.

In 1997, Cindy worked as a Sales Rep/Manager at International Sports Management, where they sold corporate hospitality for top sporting events. Cindy also managed a team of 6-8 employees by providing training, resources, and mentoring.

Lastly, they worked as a Client needs provider at Satellite Shelters, Inc. starting from 1997.

Cindy Dekker completed their education history with a focus on business and safety. In 1987, they attended the College of DuPage and obtained an Associates in Arts degree in Business, which they completed in 1992. In 2001, they pursued a National Account Certification at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2009, Cindy received a certification in Construction Safety from the US Department of Labor; OSHA.
