Diane Johnson

Director of Human Resources at Satellite Shelters

Diane Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Diane has held various roles in different companies.

Diane started their career at Hopkins School District 270 in 1994, where they worked as an Activities Supervisor and Accounts Manager. Diane was responsible for managing the school age care program and overseeing the older kids program before and after school, as well as during the summer.

After working at the school district for 13 years, Diane moved on to work as an Endorser for NAA-National Accreditation Association. In this role, they observed child care programs and assessed their adherence to Accreditation Standards.

In 2007, Diane joined the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities as the Director of Child Care Programs. Diane managed the budget and operations of the daycare and school-age programs, including hiring, training, and ongoing development of staff.

In 2008, Diane transitioned to Amplifon, where they held multiple roles. Diane was the Sr. Human Resources Generalist, responsible for recruitment, training, and employee relations. Diane then became the HR Employee Training & Development Manager, providing training and coaching to managers and franchise owners. Finally, they took on the role of Director of Training Development, overseeing the training development team and delivering training programs to internal and external customers.

Most recently, Diane has been working at Satellite Shelters Inc. as the Director of Human Resources. In this role, they provide strategic HR solutions and brings a holistic approach to address the organization's needs. Diane is also an expert in training and training development.

Diane Johnson attended St. Cloud State University - Herberger Business School from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Their field of study was Speech Communications-Human Resource Management. In 2010, they received certifications from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI and the HR Certification Institute, earning the titles of Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) and Professional in Human Resources Certification.
