Amit Kama has worked in the software engineering and development field since 2007. From 2007 to 2013, they worked at CopperGate Communications as a Team Leader for the Tavor Power Line Communication project, a Software Engineer for the HPAV project, and a SW Engineer for the HPNA project. In 2013, they joined Scientra as a SW-FW engineer, where they were responsible for Java and Python development as well as embedded Linux. In 2014, they moved to Pixie Technology as a Senior FW engineer, where they were responsible for developing the BLE communication stack and proprietary system and MAC protocols. Finally, in 2016, they joined SatixFy as VP of Software, then Director of Software, and finally Team Lead, where they were responsible for host processor development and system, as well as embedded Linux BSP, kernel, and userspace product.
Amit Kama completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Ben Gurion University between 2004 and 2008. Amit then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Computer Science at the Open University of Israel, which they are still currently studying for.
