Riaan van der Westhuizen

Riaan van der Westhuizen is an accomplished Senior Manager with extensive experience in the catering and hospitality industry, currently serving at Saudi Airlines Catering Company since February 2013. In this role, Riaan oversees the management of 20 oil rigs, 8 sites, 6 medical clinics, and 2 accommodation camps across Eastern Saudi Arabia, managing an annual budget exceeding 150 million SAR and a diverse workforce of over 500 multinational employees. Previously, Riaan held the position of Country Manager at Supreme Global Solutions from October 2006 to November 2012, where supervision included 6 sites in Afghanistan with a workforce of over 1,000 employees. Other notable positions include Project Manager for the 15th Asian Games in Doha and Head Chef at Fedics, showcasing a breadth of expertise in operational management, culinary planning, and event coordination. Riaan completed education at Harrismith High School and Harrismith Primary School.
