Alaa Almashhadi

Alaa AlMashhadi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 2001 at Samba Financial Group, they worked as a Relationship Manager and later as an MIS/Compliance Officer. In 2005, they joined BNP Paribas as the Head of Operations and Customer Services before transitioning to become the Head of Cash Management & Liabilities. In 2007, Alaa joined Al Rajhi Bank as the Country Sales Head for Transactional Banking & Cash Management. Alaa later became the Director of Public Sector & Government Banking. In 2016, they moved to Saudi Credit Bureau - SIMAH as the Head of Business Development, eventually becoming the Chief Business Development Officer in 2018. Currently, Alaa serves as a Board Member for Qarar since April 2019.

Alaa AlMashhadi completed a diploma in Banking Operation from the Institute of Public Administration-Saudi Arabia between 1999 and 2001. Later, from 2011 to 2014, AlMashhadi pursued a B.A. degree in International Finance & Banking at Sheffield Hallam University. In 2014-2015, they obtained an MBA in Business Administration and Management from The University of Sheffield. Additionally, AlMashhadi participated in the LEAD (Leadership Effectiveness Accelerated Development) program at AlRajhi Bank in December 2011 and completed a High Performance Leadership certification from IMD in November 2023. They also possess a Chartered Manager certification from the Chartered Management Institute, for which the specific month and year of obtaining are not provided. Currently, AlMashhadi is enrolled in the Misk 2030 leaders program at Esade, with completion expected in 2023.
