Mazin Albahkali

Mazin Albahkali has extensive work experience in the power and energy industry. Mazin is currently the Principal Buyer and Chief Executive Officer at the Saudi Power Procurement Company. Prior to this role, they held positions at Saudi Electricity Company, including Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning & New Business Development, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, and Executive Director of New Business Development. Mazin has also served as a Board Member at Saudi Green Company for Carbon Services and AlMourjan for Electricity Production Company. In addition, they have held various roles at GE Power, including President and CEO of Power Services, and at GE Grid Solutions as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey. Mazin has also been a Board Member at GE Saudi Advanced Turbines and the Higher Institute for Water and Power Technologies.

Mazin Albahkali obtained their B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from King Saud University, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. Mazin then went on to pursue a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, studying from 2001 to 2003.
