Turki Basalib

Turki Basalib has a work experience that includes roles in network operations and engineering. From 2012 onwards, they worked at Saudi Electricity Company as the Chief Network Solution Architect and Network Operations Technical Lead. Turki'sresponsibilities included leading the network technical operation team, providing 24/7 on-call technical support, leading network activities such as routing and switching, wireless and data center upgrades, and creating/updating baseline configuration documents. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they worked at Mobily through Saudi Emircom Co as a Senior Network Engineer and Wireless Technical Leader. In this role, they provided 24/7 level 3 technical support for Mobily in both their enterprise and ISP operations, handled various network operation tasks such as service restoration and requests, and troubleshooting and solving critical operation incidents within SLA time.

Turki Basalib completed their Bachelor of Information Technology and Computing at Arab Open University - Saudi Arabia from 2012 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering Management from Columbus University, which they completed from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they earned a Higher Diploma of Computer Science in Networking Technology from New Horizon Institute from 2005 to 2007. Turki Basalib also holds various certifications from Cisco and VMware, including the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Enterprise Infrastructure (CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure) obtained in 2011, and the VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization obtained in 2021.
