Douglas Starr is a seasoned professional in the foundry and casting industry with over 30 years of experience. Currently serving as the Market Development Manager for North America at Saudi Mechanical Industries Co. since May 2018, Douglas focuses on expanding castings sales through direct engagement and distributor relationships. Prior roles include positions at Foseco, where responsibilities spanned from Sales Executive to Product Manager, and at Emerson / Appleton Electric Foundry, where Douglas served as Foundry Engineer and Pattern Shop Manager. Previous experience also includes a Foundry Engineer role at Grede Foundries, Inc. and a managerial position at MAGMA Foundry Technologies, Inc. Douglas holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Lubar College of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
