Fatimah Alhazmi

Fatimah Alhazmi is an emerging professional in the fields of computational fluid dynamics and space science. Currently serving as a Visiting Student and Research Intern at KAUST since June 2022, Fatimah has contributed to the Computational, Electrical, Mathematical Science and Engineering Saudi Summer Internship Program. Participation in the Saudi Space Commission includes work on novel nanocomposites for UV shielding for the international Cubes in Space competition, alongside serving on the Student Consultant Committee for the Ajyal Space Program. Fatimah co-founded and held the position of Vice-President of the Space NAO Club at Taibah University, which is the first club dedicated to space science in Medina. Previous roles also include designing scientific riddles for Ithra and mentoring for Kids Scientists. Fatimah holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Taibah University and is set to complete a certificate in Computational Physics from Wolfram Summer School in July 2024.
