Mike Abbott

Mike Abbott has a diverse work experience in the transportation industry. Mike served as the President/Owner of SAV Transportation Group, a Minneapolis-based carrier company, for over twenty years. During their tenure, they worked with renowned companies like Best Buy, Budweiser, Heineken, Spaten, and Super Valu in optimizing their supply chains and delivering products to the market. SAV Transportation Group operated an independent fleet, a comprehensive brokerage, and an award-winning e-commerce platform.

Before joining SAV Transportation Group, Mike worked as an Operations Manager at Twin Modal, a transportation intermediary that offers innovative shipping solutions. Mike contributed to the development of their service offerings, establishing Twin Modal as a leading player in the industry. Twin Modal's network extended throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Early in their career, Mike served as a Dispatcher at CH Robinson Worldwide, a company founded in 1905.

Mike Abbott attended Saint John's University from 1973 to 1977 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
