Simon Taylor

Simon Taylor is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Deputy Group Financial Controller at Savannah Energy since June 2020, Simon oversees functional and consolidated budgeting, variance analysis, and provides technical accounting advice while managing FP&A and Financial Control teams. Prior to this role, Simon spent four years at EY, progressing from Audit Associate to Group Finance Manager, specializing in audit engagements for FTSE 100 companies in the Oil & Gas, Mining & Metals, and renewables sectors. Simon holds a Chartered Accountant qualification from ICAS and a degree in Accounting, Auditing & Finance from Lancaster University.
