Thomas Danielson is a Senior Scientist at Savannah River National Laboratory since September 2016, with a robust background in materials science and engineering. Past experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant position at Virginia Tech from August 2011 to July 2016, where extensive research involved finite difference methods and DFT calculations focused on nanostructured ferritic alloys. Prior work at Oak Ridge National Laboratory included implementing kinetic Monte Carlo simulations and developing algorithms for chemical reaction networks. Thomas Danielson holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering and a Graduate Certificate in Nuclear Engineering from Virginia Tech, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Mathematics from Monmouth College.
