Trey Hiott

Trey Hiott is a Senior Environmental Engineer at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions since December 2021, specializing as an Environmental Compliance Authority (ECA) in Area Completion Projects (ACP). Key responsibilities include ensuring environmental compliance, providing guidance for operations, decommissioning, and managing groundwater monitoring wells. Trey collaborates with chemical coordinators and solid waste management to determine waste disposal strategies. Prior experience includes serving as a Logistics & Data Specialist at ECWSA from January 2018 to December 2021, where expertise in GIS systems and data collection was developed. Additionally, from December 2007 to December 2017, Trey held the role of Environmental Health Manager and Emergency Response Team Member at the South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control, focusing on compliance and oversight related to the Savannah River Site's Federal Facilities Agreement program. Trey holds a Bachelor’s degree from Lander University, obtained between 2001 and 2006.
