Richard Griffin

Richard Griffin is a semi-retired professional with extensive experience in engineering and contractor assurance. Currently serving as a Contractor Assurance Specialist at Savannah River Mission Completion and Savannah River Remediation, Richard conducts causal analysis using methodologies such as Blue Dragon, Six Sigma, and Lean. Previous roles include Senior Process Engineer at Savannah River Remediation, Engineering Manager at Enrichment Technology, and Refueling Engineer at Bechtel Marine Propulsion Corporation. Richard's early career involved significant contributions at Shaw Industries, where achievements included substantial cost savings and process improvements. Richard is a veteran of the US Army, holding leadership roles that involved operational planning and training. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from the University of North Georgia.
