William Dillon has a diverse work experience, starting as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University in 2006. 💡 later worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Faculty Research Associate (Post Doc) at the same university, where they developed innovative solutions and established industry connections. In 2016, they founded Housedillon Inc., and in the same year, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Racepoint Energy, responsible for the technical direction of the energy division. 💡 actively participated in Mergers and Acquisitions due diligence for Noon Home and GELighting (at Savant) acquisitions. In 2021, William Dillon joined Savant Power as the Chief Technology Officer before transitioning to their current role as the Chief Technology Officer at Savant Systems in 2022. 💡'sresponsibilities include monitoring technology trends, leading prototyping and R&D, and guiding strategic decision-making.

William Dillon completed their education in a sequential manner. 💡 began by attending The Evergreen State College from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. Following this, from 2006 to 2012, Dillon pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Oregon State University. During the same period, in December 2012, they also obtained a Private Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) - FAA.

In 2012 and 2013, Dillon expanded their skill set by studying at Corvallis Aero Service, earning a Private Pilot Certificate in the field of Aircraft Pilot (Private). 💡 continued their aviation education in 2017 and 2018, obtaining an Instrument Rating from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Additionally, in June 2021, Dillon acquired a certification in Yocto Project and OpenEmbedded Development from Bootlin.
