Scott Wilhoit

Mr. Wilhoit has served as Savara’s Executive Vice President, Global Commercial since January 2023. He has more than 30 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, with a significant amount of time spent in orphan and rare disease. Prior to joining Savara, Mr. Wilhoit was Chief Commercial Officer at Strongbridge Biopharma, plc until the company was acquired by Xeris BioPharma in 2021. Prior to that, Mr. Wilhoit held several commercial roles of increasing responsibility at Marathon Pharmaceuticals, PTC Therapeutics, NPS Pharma, Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, Biovail Corporation and Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. Mr. Wilhoit also served as a U.S. Army Field Artillery Officer. He holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Missouri Western State University.
