George Papadatos

George Papadatos, P.Eng. has over 30 years of experience in various engineering and leadership roles. George is currently the Vice President of Global Research & Development at Savaria, a position they started in 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Global Engineering (Product & Process Development) at Stackpole International from 2018 to 2023, where they led global engineering teams and implemented streamlined policies and procedures. From 2013 to 2018, they were the Director of Engineering (Manufacturing) at Northstar Aerospace, where they improved quality and customer satisfaction by 50-100% and implemented process improvement projects. At General Donlee Limited, George held the role of Operations Manager/Director of Engineering and Development from 2011 to 2013, where they improved product delivery and implemented new technology. From 2006 to 2010, they were the General Manager at LHM Technologies Inc., where they established a strategic vision and achieved significant savings through contract renegotiations. Prior to that, they held various engineering roles at Magna Powertrain, Ventra Group Inc, Aludie Extrusion Dies, and Exco Technologies Inc.

George Papadatos, P.Eng. pursued their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University. George studied at the university from 1991 to 1994, focusing on their field of study during this time.
