From 2000 to 2003, they worked at Miradiant Global Network, Inc. as Vice President. From 2003 to 2005, they were Director Sales & Account Management at BCD Travel. From 2005 to 2014, they were Managing Director at Eurail Group GIE. In 2014, they founded Meliorate, where they served as Senior Business Consultant. In 2016, they became International Sales Director at Save A Train and Mede eigenaar / Commercial Director at TimeQuard.
Rene' de Groot attended The University of Auckland from 1984 to 1987, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom in Corporate Communicatie/Zakelijke Communicatie. Rene' then attended School voor de Journalistiek from 1974 to 1978, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Marketing/Commerciëble Economie (CE) - Specialisatie Marketing Management.
