Position Overview:
A front desk receptionist is the first point of contact for guests and clients who visit a business. They are responsible for handling incoming calls, scheduling appointments, greeting visitors, and performing various administrative tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Greet clients and visitors with a positive and friendly attitude.
2. Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
3. Schedule and confirm appointments for clients and staff members.
4. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
5. Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
6. Provide information to clients and visitors about the company and its services.
7. Assist with various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and copying documents.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including maintaining client confidentiality.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard computer applications.
4. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in stressful situations.
7. Previous experience in customer service, receptionist, or administrative support roles preferred.
Work Schedule:
The work schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
