Don Kerns

Don Kerns has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Space Operations Officer in the United States Air Force from 1993 to 1999. Don then served as a Pastor at Springwood Presbyterian Church from 2001 to 2008. Following that, they became an Associate Pastor / Campus Pastor at Advent Presbyterian Church from 2008 until 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Operations and Finance at Save Our Youth since October 2021.

Don Kerns has an extensive education history. Don obtained their Doctor of Ministry degree in Executive Leadership from Denver Seminary, which they attended from 2012 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Divinity degree at Fuller Theological Seminary from 1994 to 2000. Don'sundergraduate studies were completed at the United States Air Force Academy, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Astronautical Engineering from 1989 to 1993. Don Kerns also graduated from Ripley High School in 1989, earning their High School Diploma.

In addition to their formal education, Don Kerns has acquired several certifications. In June 2022, they obtained the Youth Mental Health First Aid certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. Don also obtained the certification of Ordained Teaching Elder (Minister) from the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in May 2001.
