Caroline Chan has a diverse work experience in the field of fundraising and development. Caroline has worked as the Head of Fundraising & Marketing Operations at Save the Children Canada since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Development Manager for Annual Giving and Operations at the Aga Khan Museum from 2020 to 2022. During their time there, they successfully led a team, launched a new direct marketing program, conducted stewardship audits, and improved member benefits. Before that, Caroline worked as a Senior Development Manager at the Canadian Art Foundation, where they managed donor relationships and achieved a significant increase in revenue. Caroline also has experience as a Philanthropy and Inclusion Fellow at the AFP Foundation and as an Annual Giving Officer at St. Stephen's Community House. Additionally, Caroline worked at the Canadian Art Foundation as a Development Officer and Grants Coordinator, and they served as a Direct Marketing Consultant at All The Year Round Studio. Caroline began their career at Foresters Financial, where they worked as a Senior Direct Response Designer for the Member Loyalty Program.
Caroline Chan holds a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Additionally, they have completed a Direct Marketing Certificate from the Canadian Marketing Association and an AFP Fellowship in Inclusion & Philanthropy Certificate from AFP.
