Getrude Sibongile Mabeza

Getrude Sibongile Mabeza is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and program management. Currently serving as the Programme Partnership Thematic Manager and Project Manager at Save the Children South Africa since July 2021, Getrude previously held roles as ECD Project Manager and Grade R teacher at Cotlands from January 2009 to July 2021. Earlier experience includes working as a Foundation Phase Teacher for the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of Zimbabwe and as a Relief Teacher for the Ministry of Education Zimbabwe. Academically, Getrude holds a Master's in Development Practice with a focus on International Development & Policy from the University of Pretoria, along with qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Counselling Psychology.
