Anthony Allen

Director of Restoration Strategy at Save the Sound

Anthony Allen has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being the Director of Restoration Strategy at Save the Sound since October 2022. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing operations, partnerships, grant and program budget development, and managing projects related to ecological restoration. Prior to this, Anthony worked as the Assistant Director of Ecological Restoration at Save the Sound, where they were involved in strategic planning, communications, hiring, and economic projects. Anthony has also served as the Ecological Communications Specialist at Save the Sound.

Before joining Save the Sound, Anthony founded and served as the President of A Tipping Point, a company they led from July 2017 to October 2020. Anthony also worked as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania from March 2018 to September 2019.

In addition to their conservation and teaching work, Anthony has co-founded two organizations. Anthony co-founded ARTTN Gallery, an online art space that curates exhibits to tell impactful stories and generates social impact through the sale of limited-edition art pieces. Anthony also co-founded Formata, a social impact action tank that partners with organizations to develop high-impact projects.

Anthony has also gained experience as a Development Intern at Holy Family Passionist Monastery & Retreat Center.

Anthony Allen obtained a Certificate in Social Impact Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania starting in 2017, with no specified end year. Prior to that, they attended Quinnipiac University from 2012 to 2014, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).
