Paul Woodworth

Senior Project Manager, Fluvial Geomorphologist at Save the Sound

Paul Woodworth has extensive work experience in the field of environmental conservation and management. Paul began their career in 1999 as an Environmental Educator with the Peace Corps, where they worked until 2001. In 2002, Paul joined the Connecticut River Coastal Conservation District as a Watershed Projects Coordinator, a position they held until 2008. During this time, they gained valuable skills in coordinating and implementing watershed projects. In 2008, Paul joined Princeton Hydro, LLC as a Fluvial Geomorphologist, where they worked until 2023. In this role, they contributed their expertise in studying and managing river systems.

Additionally, in 2003, Paul became a Member of the GREAT MEADOWS CONSERVATION TRUST INC, showing their commitment to conservation efforts on a community level. Most recently, Paul has taken on the role of Senior Project Manager and Fluvial Geomorphologist at Save the Sound, starting in 2023. Overall, Paul's work experience demonstrates their dedication to environmental conservation and their expertise in project management and fluvial geomorphology.

Paul Woodworth obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Environmental Studies from Middlebury College between 1995 and 1999. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Fluvial Geomorphology at the University of Connecticut from 2006 to 2008. In July 2019, they obtained a certification in Mindfulness from LinkedIn.
