Kaustuv Roy

Kaustuv Roy has extensive work experience in the real estate industry, starting in 1991 as a Planning Engineer at Larsen & Toubro. Kaustuv then worked as a Business Research Executive at Tata Strategic Management Group, where they conducted feasibility studies. Following this, Roy joined Colliers International as a Senior Consultant.

In 1998, Roy joined Cushman & Wakefield and held various roles such as Manager, regional manager, Director, and Senior Managing Director. Kaustuv was responsible for leasing, project management, research, valuation, and consultancy across different regions. Roy also set up the International Desk and led a team for cross-border tenant business between Americas and Asiapac.

From 2016 to 2017, Roy worked at L&T Realty as the Head of Leasing, handling commercial office projects in India.

Most recently, Roy served as the Managing Director - India Occupier Services at Cushman & Wakefield. Kaustuv'sresponsibilities included cross-selling service lines and managing client relationships at the C-Suite level, primarily for Fortune 100 clients based in the USA and Europe.

In 2019, Roy joined Savills India as the Managing Director - Business Solutions.

Kaustuv Roy's education history begins with their completion of the ICSE and ISC degrees in Science from Bishop Cotton Boys' School, which they attended from 1973 to 1986. Following this, they pursued a BSc degree in Physics Hons from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata from 1986 to 1987.

In 1987, Roy enrolled at the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, where they studied Civil Engineering and earned their BE degree in 1991. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) from 1993 to 1995 and obtained an MMS degree in Finance.

Additionally, in July 2009, Roy obtained a certification in MRICS from RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
