Andrew Shea Afyouni has a diverse work experience in various fields. Andrew Shea has worked as a Medical Student Researcher and Junior Research Specialist at the UC Irvine Department of Urology, where they assisted with clinical studies, patient interactions, and laboratory research. Andrew Shea also served as the President of the Foundation for the Advancement of Minimally Invasive Surgery. Additionally, they held multiple roles at the Saving Hearts Foundation, including Advisory Committee Member, Executive Director, Marketing Director, and External Vice President of the UCLA Chapter. Andrew has taken a sabbatical from medical school to work as a Clinical Operations Manager at Bright Uro, a medical devices startup. Andrew Shea Afyouni received their MD degree from the University of California, Irvine - College of Medicine in 2025. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Biomedical Research from UCLA in 2019. Andrew Shea completed their high school education at University High School in Irvine, CA from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they hold a certification in BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association, obtained in 2015.
