Igor Muniz Soares is a seasoned machine learning and data science professional with extensive experience in AI and natural language processing. Currently serving as the Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Exponential Ventures since August 2020, Igor leads a data science team and is responsible for defining data architecture and AI models. Previous roles include Deep Learning Researcher at Centro de Excelência em Inteligência Artificial and Data Scientist at Indra, alongside academic experience as a Professor at FASAM Faculdade Sul-Americana. Igor holds a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade Federal de Goiás, with a strong focus on computer vision, NLP, and machine learning model development throughout a diverse career spanning various organizations.
