Sanjoy Banerjee

Sanjoy Banerjee has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Sanjoy started their career as a Medical Representative at Glaxo Laboratories India Ltd in 1986 and worked there until 1989. Sanjoy then joined Dabur Pharmaceuticals Ltd as a Medical Representative from 1989 to 1992. In 1992, they moved to Bahwans Group in the Middle East as a Sr. Sales Representative, a role they held until 1996.

After that, Banerjee joined Jay Chemicals Industries as Deputy Manager from 1996 to 1998. During this time, they introduced trading of Dyes Intermediates and developed exports of dyes through merchant exporters, opening up a new area of revenue generation for the organization.

Sanjoy then joined VOLTAS Ltd (Chemical Division) as a General Marketing Manager from 1998 to 2009. In this role, they held responsibilities in marketing and sales operations.

Banerjee then worked at DKSH India Pvt Ltd as a Senior Sales Manager from 2009 to 2011. Here, they led trading and importing of chemicals, specializing in products such as polymers, adhesives, coatings, textiles, and personal care.

From 2011 to 2016, Banerjee worked at Pidilite Industries Limited as the Head of Sales - Industrial Adhesives. Sanjoy managed sales and marketing operations nationwide, focusing on industrial adhesives. Sanjoy Banerjee completed a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from R P M College, Calcutta University from 1982 to 1985. Sanjoy also obtained an Honours in Chemistry certification from the University of Calcutta. Before pursuing higher education, they attended Don Bosco, Liluah for their schooling, completing their ICSE.
