Jeff Margolies

Jeff Margolies has extensive work experience in the cybersecurity industry. Jeff is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer for Saviynt, a leading cloud Identity & Access Management platform. In this role, they are responsible for strategy, partnerships, and corporate development. Prior to this, Jeff was a member of the Advisory Board at Saviynt.

Before joining Saviynt, Jeff worked at Mandiant as the SVP of Strategy & Strategic Partnerships. Jeff held this role from November 2020 to December 2021.

Jeff's career also includes a long tenure at Deloitte, where they served as a Principal. During their time at Deloitte from June 2014 to September 2020, they held various leadership positions, including roles on the US and Global Cyber Executive leadership teams. Jeff was involved in corporate development, alliances and ecosystems, and led special investment projects. Additionally, Jeff played a pivotal role in starting the Cloud security business at Deloitte.

Prior to Deloitte, Jeff worked at Accenture for many years. Jeff held several positions at Accenture, including Managing Director and Senior Security Executive. In these roles, they were responsible for defining and establishing growth and go-to-market strategies for the Global Security Practice. Jeff also served as an engagement partner for large multinational clients in the financial services and communications, media, and technology industries. Jeff acted as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and provided expertise in both business and technology aspects of cybersecurity.

Throughout their career, Jeff has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of cybersecurity and strategic partnerships.

Jeff Margolies received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Optics from the University of Rochester, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Jeff then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, which they completed between 1994 and 1996. Prior to their university education, Jeff attended Elgin Academy, although specific dates and degrees obtained from this institution are unknown.

Additionally, Jeff Margolies has obtained certifications from the International Information System Security Certification Consortium [(ISC)²]. Jeff received the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification in February 2016.
