Ilkka Kettunen

Ilkka Kettunen is an experienced academic and design professional currently serving as Principal Lecturer at Savonia University of Applied Sciences since January 2015 and as a Design Researcher at Aatepaja since September 2011, where focus areas include writing a doctoral thesis, teaching design management and service design, and developing a personal design collection. Previously, Kettunen held the position of Professor at the University of Lapland from August 1996 to August 2011 and was a Partner at Muodos Oy from September 1992 to September 1996. Kettunen holds a Doctor of Arts degree in Art and Design from the University of Lapland and a Master of Arts in Industrial and Product Design from the University of Art and Design Helsinki, earned between 1985 and 1991.
